  TLDR version: If you come to this part of the world and don't avail yourself of a kayak trip on the river (Clark, according to my map) you've missed out. Bring CASH, city people who are used to swiping a card for everything. Also bring a zip lock baggie to keep your iPhone dry. The boats are basic, so this is truly for every skill level of kayaker, or wanna be. The river is an easy paddle and I'm told that you can go quite a ways without finding yourself in challenging conditions. The water is clear and the area is full of wild life to see - I saw two bald eagles, countless Herons / Cranes, Kingfishers and a few deer having a drink (and wondering what the heck I was up to). There are also some fantastic rock formations both above and below the surface to look at. Good value for money spent. Excellent experience overall. Do it.
